Calder News is a hyperlocal media company in Grand Rapids, started in 2024 to connect locals with the most interesting things happening around them.
Why did Calder News start?
Our team is made up of locals who understand that Grand Rapids is changing fast.
And that most of our neighbors can’t be glued to the TV, always listen to the radio, or even cut through all the cluttered blogs to learn what’s going on around them.
We cover the most interesting changes, events, businesses, and happenings in and around Grand Rapids in a way that resonates with our (increasingly) fast-paced city.
While, of course, leaving the politics, crime, and opinions to the legacy guys…
If you’re looking for effective ways to reach locals - lets talk about how we can partner with your business or organization.
Or if you simply want to see how thousands of locals are staying updated on Grand Rapids, subscribe to our email newsletter below.
P.s. I won’t be upset if you don’t subscribe now, but I hope that you will eventually ;)
