Over the weekend, wind brought dust from the Plains to Grand Rapidsā making the city top charts for the poorest air quality in the USA. The Air Quality Index hit 397, which could irritate the eyes, throat, and nose. Even limiting outdoor activities. | Read more here

Gaslight Village Development Troubles
The development plan to bring 180 housing apartments and a 7-story mixed-use building to Gaslight Village is potentially being paused. After feedback from locals with concerns about the size of the mixed-use building and its impact on Reeds Lake Park. āļø New Airline Connects GR to Florida and North Carolina
A new airline is offering nonstop flights from GRF International to North Carolina and Flordia starting this summer. Starting May 23, passengers can fly to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, and from June 13, the airline will add service to Lakeland, Florida. The airline will operate twice-weekly flights on Fridays and Mondays using Boeing 737 aircraft, with one-way fares starting at just $59.
