Community: Got lead?
Grand Rapids has launched a new program to reduce lead levels in our water. The program is starting with a focus on the Third Ward (SE side of town)—it’ll use $500k of the city’s “participatory budget” to help people whose pipes haven’t been replaced. Residents of the Third Ward will be given lead reduction kits and optional assessments for lead risks in their homes or areas. Click to learn more about the program.
