Update: Calder Plaza Renovation
The city is bringing back the original builder, Owen-Ames-Kimball (O-A-K), to lead Calder Plaza’s major renovation next year. Plans include a $1.8M upgrade with new green space, event areas, accessibility upgrades, and resurfacing to protect the plaza. The city will finalize design details in the coming months. | Read more

Meijer LPGA Championship Results
Carlota Ciganda took home the title at this year’s Meijer LPGA Championship at Blythefield Country Club. I’m not a great golfer, nor do I know lots about it. However, it appears that Ciganda outperformed serious competition, such as Hye-Jin Choi. Ciganda almost lost the same tournament in a playoff nine years ago. This marks her first LPGA victory since 2016. | Read more

⛈️ Wild Weather Ahead
I was reading some weather reports and saw Grand Rapids may get some much-needed rain soon. Thunderstorms are possible starting tomorrow afternoon, with big storms on Wednesday afternoon and evening. What’s big? Hail and lots of wind. Would recommend keeping an eye out if you have any reason to be on the go this week!
