Good morning, Grand Rapids. I’m LeQwane and this is Calder News — and yesterday was a nice reminder that Fall is in full swing.
I kicked on the heat, had a cup of cider, and of course, a donut to top it off. I love Fall if I haven’t said it enough yet.
Anyways, let’s kick off the week right with what’s happening around GR.

Grandville Schools Funding
On November 5th, Grandville residents will get the chance to vote on two proposals to support local schools. One is a renewal of the district’s operating millage, and the other, a new sinking fund. The millage provides about 20% of the district’s budget, while the sinking fund would raise ~$3.4M each year for district repairs, technology, and buses. | Read more
