Good morning, Grand Rapids. I’m LeQwane and this is Calder News — and of course, just as we were getting used to the sunshine, the weekend rolls in with rain. Classic Michigan move.
Got any good indoor plans lined up? I’ll reply to your email as long as I see it before tomorrow afternoon.

9+ Acres, Lakefront, 30 Minutes From Grand Rapids
This 5-bed, 4-bath home sits on 9+ private acres with lake frontage in Freeport and it’s just 30 minutes from Grand Rapids.
It includes a lakeside clubhouse, spacious pole barn, and direct water access. Open and wooded land with plenty of space inside and out. A rare chance to own lakefront acreage this close to the city.

Wyoming Farm Becomes A Neighborhood
A longtime family-owned farm in Wyoming is set to become a new housing community. Eastbrook Homes plans to build 207 single-family homes and townhomes on 38 acres at 52nd Street SW and Wilson Avenue. The homes will range from $325,000 to $800,000. Wyoming city leaders have approved the project, highlighting the need for more diverse homeownership opportunities in the community. Both projects will provide housing for residents earning between 30% and 80% of the area's median income. | Read about other upcoming projects

Eastown Explores New Public Space
Eastown is rethinking the future of the Hub Lot, aiming to replace the parking area with a new community space. Uptown Grand Rapids and the Eastown Community Association are pushing for a 60-day trial to test public response. The temporary park would offer food trucks, seating, public art, and space for neighborhood events. But nothing is set in stone just yet. | Read more
