Odd–Even Parking Gets Real

Odd–even parking went into effect over a month ago, and the city is slinging out tickets. GR has issued more than 250 tickets since Nov. 1 with ~32 of those coming after last weekend’s snowfall. If you’re doing any street parking in city limits, make sure you’re on the right side of the road! | Learn more

Education

GRPS Teachers Could Get Raises

GRPS and its teachers’ union have reached a tentative two-year contract that includes a pay raise from $2,000 to $10,000+, plus retroactive payments if the deal is approved. The agreement also adds planning time, updates evaluations, and improves benefits for our teachers. To get approved, the deal is being sent to the Board of Education and union members for a final vote. | Learn more
