Good afternoon, Grand Rapids. I’m LeQwane and this is Calder News — and it’s officially been one year since I launched Calder News.
I’ve learned loads, connected with great people, and have been supported by wonderful partners.
And have had a fun time learning about our growing city. While using our platform to keep you and thousands of our neighbors informed.
Here’s to year #2 🎉

The completed project will have affordable housing, retail space, and an on-site childcare center, with completion expected by summer 2027. The development is a part of Wyoming’s larger plan to revitalize the 28th Street with more housing, businesses, and walkability. | Read more
