Yesterday, Punxsutawney Phil (the groundhog) predicted that we’re in for another 6 weeks of winter.

While Mr. Phil is allegedly a great guesser, I don’t know if I’ll be able to take another big round of snow.

💕 Most Romantic Restaurant in Michigan

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, OpenTable, the restaurant reservation service, named Leo’s the most romantic restaurant in Michigan. The full list included 100 restaurants across the United States.

👮 Kent County Sheriff’s $12,000 Dono

Over the weekend, the Kent County Sheriff’s Office held its annual Robert Kozminski Memorial Basketball Game against the Grand Rapids Police Department. The fundraiser (and rivalry) game raised $12,000 that’ll benefit a young girl with blood cancer.

🍻 Speciation Cellars → Over the weekend, Speciation Cellars celebrated its 9th anniversary with the community and its team.

🍤 Garden District → On Saturday, Garden District (an authentic Cajun restaurant downtown) celebrated its first anniversary.
