Corewell limits hospital visitors

Corewell Health is limiting the number of visitors allowed in the Children’s Hospital. Making a rule that only 2 people can be with the patient during the day and 1 person at night. The limitations come after respiratory illnesses in children admitted and coming into the hospital soar. | Learn more about the restrictions

Housing

New housing is coming to SE GR

A first-time home developer is taking a swing at bringing new housing to the southeast side of town. Bryce Hansen of Stransen Development Group has submitted plans to build a 3-story apartment with 26 units on Sheldon near Wealthy and Division. The apartment building is expected to have at least 80% of its units designated for limited-income households. If everything goes to plan, the apartment will begin construction later this year or early next.| Read more about the plans

🚎 The Rapid is updating its fare pricing

The Rapid has confirmed it’s moving forward with its fare increases. Starting April 1st, the standard fare cap will increase to $5.25 from $3.50 and the monthly fare cap for adults to $60 from $47… The base fare will start at $1.75 per ride.

🏎 The Auto Show is in town

Autobots roll out β€” the Michigan International Auto Show is in town for the weekend. Tickets are low cost, and if you like cars, it could be a nice way to spend any free time you’ve got.
