Good morning, Grand Rapids. I’m LeQwane and this is Calder News — and we saw our first snow over the weekend.

Although the snow didn’t quite stick (at least in my area) enough to build a snowman, it was still a nice reminder that winter’s on the way.

Grab your coffee, stay cozy, and let’s see what’s happening around town.

What’s Next: Meyer May House

Meyer May House in Heritage Hill

Know the famous Meyer May house in Heritage Hill?

Well, the future of it is a bit uncertain right now.

The 1909 Frank Lloyd Wright (famous architect) designed home was restored and maintained by Steelcase for years.

However, with Steelcase in the final stages of its $2.2B acquisition by HNI Corp, the home’s future is up in the air.

The home draws thousands of visitors each year and remains one of GR’s most popular historical sites. For now, its future rests with the new ownership.
