A briefing of local news that matters
Parking: Watch where youâre parking
Seasonal (odd-even and one-side) parking kicks off in Grand Rapids on Thursday, November 1st. While I wonât waste time explaining how it works, if youâre curious about parking restrictions in your neighborhood click here for details.
Community: Uptown GR releases self-guided art walk
Uptown Grand Rapids (community improvement authority) created a self-guided art walk that catalogs all the community art around Eastown, East Hills Fulton, and Wealthy. The guide showcases 36 outdoor murals, decorated crossworks, and storm drains created by local artists.
Transportation: GRF improves accessibility for travelers
The airport just got more accessible. Along with recent structural improvements, GRF International Airport has implemented sign language boards throughout the airport to help deaf and hard-of-hearing travelers.
