Not the Breakfast Kind: Nature's Egg Experience

Together with: Harmonic Egg

Photo: Courtney Yarch in front of an egg.

A few weeks ago, I visited Harmonic Egg, and I wasn't sure what to expect going in.

If you haven't heard of it, it's a wellness technique based on the energy of light and sound, and it involves a large egg (of course) lined with untreated oak and designed after nature's geometry.

You get to choose what sounds will play during the 50-minute session; whether it's didgeridoos or ocean waves. And from there, it's like meditation.

Some people pray in the egg. Some sleep. I slept a little bit.

It's a results-may-vary thing that can take up to a week to notice results, but I noticed feeling more grounded and focused within a few hours of the session (which, as a busy person, was a nice change).

If you enjoy trying new things like me, this is worth adding to your list, especially if you tend to lean toward holistic wellness.
